University College London – Research Glasshouse Facility

Project by Bridge Greenhouses

A new research glasshouse has been delivered and installed at the Darwin Building, University College London. Designed to fit the foundations of a previous structure, the new facility minimizes disruption to the sensitive roof area. It is dedicated to the cultivation and research of algae, providing precise and consistent conditions essential for advanced scientific work. Specialist hanging racks have been incorporated to support the growth and maintenance of algae cultures.

Bridge Greenhouses was selected as the ideal partner to deliver this bespoke solution, tailored specifically to UCL’s algae research requirements.
